Howdy everyone, the names cowboy, and I love meeting new people. In my previous house I enjoyed playing with and being around men, women, and children. Some of the ways I love to burn off some of my access energy, is by running around outside, and by playing with toys such as balls, ropes, and squeaky toys. When you throw a toy, I will go fetch it, but I’m not the best at letting go of it; however with some further training I’m sure I can become great at fetching and releasing. I have only been outside dog of my whole life, and would feel most comfortable in an outside environment. Though you would need to make sure you have a secure fence, because I have a tendency of escaping. However, I’m sure with some training and consistency, I would eventually make a good inside dog as well. …show more content…

Do you see a piece of property? Do you see a thing that should be abused? Or do you see a human being that cannot talk, is abused, is put through pain for our enjoyment, is treated like a slave, in the eyes of a dog? Next time you see a dog, do not look at it like anything that we treat like a piece of property; look at it like an animal that needs love, care,…

Despite being separated by a metal door with a barred window, the pups immediately made personal connections to me and called out for my attention. In particular, one of the Pit Bull mixes made a desperate plea for me to simply move over to her enclosure and acknowledge her presence. She would bark, yelp, and stand on her hind legs to look out of her enclosure in search of a moment of human interaction. Almost as soon as I came over to see the Pit Bull, she would calm down, wag her tail, and sit, completely content with me simply looking at her, revealing one of the beautiful natures of the human-dog relationship. This interaction illustrated the idea that canines have tapped into a mutual bond affecting the production of oxytocin, as it was evident that the human contact affected the overall feeling and attitude of the dog.…

This passion for animals has not only maintained itself as I have grown and gained new experience and knowledge, but it has evolved immensely. When I was eleven, I began training in the sport of dog agility, where a handler and their dog run through a complex obstacle course. Being a young and nimble grade schooler, I quickly adapted to the sport and its challenges. Although my first dog, Dixie, had many training challenges, our abilities to work through them made us successful. My struggles with her training, accompanied by many tears, carefully shaped me into a better trainer and handler both in and out of competition.…

You can play with cats with balls of yarn, laser pointers, and other things, but its still not really exercise for you. When you play with laser pointers, you are simply moving your hand around and having the cat do all of the running. When you have a dog they go play fetch or you might have to chase them while they have the ball in their mouth. They are very fast runners. Even when your dog gets out, it might not be the best situation and you may not want to but they will still give you quite a workout.…

What my dog has taught me Humans are basically social animals, and in learning to coexist more peacefully, our pets could teach us a thing or two. I know some people consider their pets as a part of their families. I strongly agree with that stance towards the dog I have in my home. Having been a dog owner since the age of nine, I can claim that a lot of growing and maturing goes on during that timeframe. Pets have this ability to teach people things that even humans cannot.…
