Personal Essay On Track And Field

Runners running, I can see them sweat. Jumpers are jumping into a pit of sand, it feels soft. Parents watching, I can see them on the bleachers. Coaches yelling, I can hear them yelling. . Throwers throwing a softball. One of my beliefs is track and field

Track and field makes me healthy. Last year when I started track and field, at the time I didn’t want to do track and field at all. My dad kept on begging me to join the team. Later on he told me that it is healthy for me. He told me that you can have stronger legs. Also stronger arms. Then I finally chose to give it a try. On my first race, I could feel my legs get stronger and my arms stronger throughout the race. Being healthy is very important to me because track and field help me become very healthy.

Track makes me have a lot of teamwork skills. On my last track meet in Catholic Memorial. I had my last and final relay race of the season. It was a 4 by 100 relay race. I was with 3 other girls. I was the second leg of the relay race. Before the race, I was nervous because it was one of the last relay race of the whole entire season for this year. On one of my track meets (also a Catholic Memorial). I had to do a 200 meter race. I was a little nervous about how I would do in this particular race. So, I practiced before the race started and was getting prepared. Then after I practiced I felt very confident. Then people who worked for the track meet started to say that the 200 meter race is starting to line the kids up. Later on I got called for the race. THen the official shot the gun and I ran off. In my first 100 I was passing a lot of people. That got me to be in first place. Then I realized that I won the race. I was so proud of myself and I could hear the coaches and my parents cheering on for me. If I put a lot of effort into my races, then I will do well in
