Was the only voice I could hear from a distant and it only made me realize that I was dreaming but it was so good. I woke up like I soldier ready for battle, what is the time I asked and my roommate whose name I forgot because we only introduced ourselves the night before. Its past 7am and you have to be at the mess, take your breakfast and go for your first lecture which starts in 45 minutes. As I had a paramilitary training before, I was still able to complete my shower, walking to the mess, having breakfast and walking to class building in 40 minutes.

The above assertion does not mean Indians do not speak good English or do not construct their sentences well, you will be so shocked that even some British or Americans would have to go back to their studies when you meet well learned Indians which you will easily find in India. Majority of their states have literacy rate up to 80 to 95% or more depending on the state and yes, you will always find one in every three to five Indians you find in the city well learned and having more degrees than you as well but if you find yourself in rural India, it is also a very good avenue to understand the other side of India which will be coming up in our next

There are several experiences in my life where I have felt that I was treated in an unfair manner, but the most recent of those experiences is the one that occurred to me only months prior to this application. Up until the beginning of November of this year, I used to believe that being a great and successful student would be the most rewarding accomplishment of my senior high career. As a result of this, I unwisely assumed that the most important thing in my life was how well I could do on the next test. I spent a meager amount of my time involved in anything else aside from my homework or studying; expecting to be fairly remunerated for a majority of my hard work. Earlier this year, I was indeed rewarded with an application to National Honors…

Although, the vacation we took to Niagara Hotel as a family started off on a good note. I kicked my shoes off and laid flat on my bed. The bed in the suite was so luxurious , the covers were Egyptian silk which easily clinged onto my skin.…

Nevertheless, I have come to realize that it was through my faith in him and realizing that we all have a purpose on this Earth that has influenced by academic and professional experiences. Being the first person in my family to attend college and graduate with a degree, it was particularly difficult monetarily for my parents to send me to college; however, my parents knew that it was in God’s plan for me to pursue a postsecondary education.…

    A. Autobiographical Statement My mother was the first and only person in her family to graduate from college, which has always been an inspiration to me. She was an abused wife on food stamps, raising two children on her own while my father was incarcerated. I will always remember when she told me that life was like a lotus flower; we may start by growing in the mud but each day we can choose to bloom above the water into a beautiful flower. It was then that I understood my childhood was not my choice, but how I choose to live the rest of my life was. My mother never wavered in her faith that if I wanted to do something in my life the only thing that could hold me back was myself.…

Faith is inevitable; it’s the spirit of wisdom and the acknowledgment of a Higher Power. I am most thankful for being raised as a Muslim. Through my years of growing from a child, to a teenager, to a young adult, and now to a mother –I have come to realize the obligation of duty, the necessity of belief, and the requirement of love for embracing religion. As a child, I felt most estranged from my fellow classmates because my religion was not the same as theirs. It was the year I was starting fourth grade, and my parents had this brilliant idea to move our family from a diversely ethnic Chicago to an all-white school in the suburbs.…

The feelings of excitement, joy, and love were very tangible in my heart. My mom and dad were both sitting beside me on my bed while I was told the importance of this decision and how my life would never be the same. Even at 5 years old, I was aware of my decision to follow Jesus and accept him into my heart.…

Everyone’s journey in life is different so to speak; we each pick different paths based on decisions that we make. When I reflect and think about myself I realized that I have come a long way in my short 22 years of life for someone whose life has not changed extremely drastically in any sense. For the very first half of my life, everything was very steady. That was until I went into high school where my life changed in many different ways because I decided to go through different paths that I would never have expected to turn on to. Through self-reflection now I am almost glad that they occurred despite the difficulties that came along with it.…
