Personal Essay: My Primary Goals In Life

My Primary goal in life is to be SUCCESSFUL not only for myself but for my family. I am a wife of a Retired U.S. Army Veteran who proudly served our country for five years. He was medically discharged due to an injury from his last deployment, in Afghanistan, where he was hit by an I.E.D leaving him with T.B.I (Traumatic Brain Injury), and completely deaf with no sense of feeling on the left side of his head. I am so happy he is home safe and that we have the life we do together. Also, I am a proud mother to two very amazing kids that have changed my life. I have a very handsome & energetic three year old, named Joe Joe and a gorgeous & sassy little princess, named Ilyahna Marie. All three of them are my motivation, not just to be successful in everyday life but to have something to show for it, and something to leave for them to continue and grow a legacy with. I want to be able to give my family everything they need, ensure that my kids will have a safe and stable home to live in, and not have to bounce around to a new home every couple of years the way I had to.

I don’t think anyone deserves to be handed anything in life, I think those who deserve anything work there butts off for it and get it in return. So I believe I am a candidate because I know I will work my hardest to achieve everything I have ever wanted in my Career as an esthetician and because it’s finally time to do something for myself and a little extra help to keep me going.
