There have been many people who have influenced my life, some that were there for a day, and some that were there for years. My mother has influenced me to be a good student, believe in myself and others, and become the greatest person I can be. God has influenced me to continue chasing my faith, and continue to show everyone who I am in my own way. My father has influenced me to stay strong no matter what. There have been many influences in my life, but the person who has influenced me the most has been my best friend Olivia. Olivia has taught me so much about sports, relationships, and how to support my friends and family. She has helped me get through so much, such as; teaching me to play volleyball and helping me run the mile.

She helps clean, helps with homework, and helps with all of life's problems. Olivia has helped me through my dad's Cancer battle. She has let me talk to her for hours upon hours talking about just one topic. My dad has become her dad, and we both find it hard to comprehend his condition. She has been there to help me with my homework when I don’t understand. She gets mad when I understand something but I act like I don’t know, and I secretly laugh under my breath. There is no denying that some days she wants to kill me and there are some days that I want to kill her, but in the end, we want to buried by each other if we do. She has been there to help me clean my room when it gets messy; which is every week. We have created many memories cleaning together. Some of those memories consist of dirty laundry, hampers, and ice cream. We have a friendship that will last a lifetime and even eternity. She has been a major influence on me since we were small children running around on the playground, to now when we still run around on the playground as teenagers. She has taught me so much, some things I wish I did not remember and some things that I am happy to understand. She knows how to deal with me, which is a major part of our relationship, and she knows what to say when she deals with all of my emotions at once. She is my sister from another family, and that is just fine because blended families are wonderful. Those types of families see the real person behind every person in the family. She also is like my personal maid. If I “need help” cleaning something, I tend to sit around and eat ice cream, while she does all the work. We laugh about it until our stomachs hurt or literally urinate in our pants. We have many memories together, some that I wish I could forget, others I wish I could remember.
