Personal Essay: Loyalty In The United States

LOYALTY Loyalty is defined as a strong feeling of support of allegiance. For me, loyalty, trust, and respect are the main prospects of any relationship. In all honesty, I do not believe that a single one of my current friends has shown me that they would support me in any decision that I would make. There was, however, one moment in which I really felt that I had a strong relationship with someone. My parents wanted me to apply to schools in Raleigh, NC and I had told my friend this. She was really upset for a few days and then started to ask more about the school I was really looking at. She had thought long and hard about it and decided that she would apply to the school with me because it was in both of our best interests. Speechless, was the only the only thing I was capable of being because she supported me in my past decision to the point that she was going to do it with me. Although, after that it was downhill with our friendship and now we consist of false promises and our friendship is becoming one-sided …show more content…
I understand to an extent of what Caesar went through when he saw that Brutus had stabbed him, but I will never fully understand because people tend to back-stab me and don’t have the guts to do it
