Personal Essay: How Michael Hays Changed My Life

It was a warm spring morning in May of 1999 I, Michael Hays, was born and changed my parents lives forever. I’m finishing high school this year and I am planning on going to collage at Ohio university in Athens then later transferring to Ohio State University in Columbus Ohio. I am an individual who loves to be outside and do anything outdoors. My favorite hobbies are hunting, fishing, and shooting and competing in 3D archery, I have won many regional competitions and have made the podium at most of them I was also ranked 15th in the world in the preceding year. My life has been pretty good so far, however I look forward to the future. I see life as only a stepping-stone toward something greater. I am a happy person most of the time and try to enjoy life. I have a few close friends but a lot of friends that are just more of acquaintances than close friends. I try to make my days of school go by fast by talking to friends but somedays I just have to suffer through it. I have been in church all my life but have bounced back in fourth between …show more content…
If I fail to succeed with this goal, I will probably go into farming and maybe heavy equipment operation because it is only a one-month course and is a very easy field to get into also it pays good. In the future I hope to have a family I will more than likely live in either Jackson, Parkersburg, or Athens I want to have an enormous farm with a veterinarian clinic and a two story log cabin with a large walk out basement. I look forward to my future. I hope to start a family and a successful business to support them I would like for my wife to not have to work and be able to homeschool the children so they will not have to be exposed to the world till later. I want to be able to raise my children in church and retire and live a happy
