Personal Essay: Controversy Questions In The Landscaping Industry

June 21st 2011, I playfully asked my closest friend if he wanted to make “tons of money”, in which he quickly replied “ of course what kind of silly question is that?”June 22nd 2011, with several rolls of duct tape to repair the plastic shattered fire hazard of a lawn mower Magic Lawn Services was born. Several days of microsoft word “flyer creating” and door to door advertising created our loyal two year customer base. It was a long two years, full of sweat, blood, safety goggles and facial masks to prevent what I thought at the time could have been lung cancer. One of my best and final moments in the landscaping industry was the day of the explosion. The day the 2001 John Deere duct tape tractor created smoke signals for the world to see,
