Personal Essay: Cheer Career Analysis

Hi, I'm Rachel McLaughlin. I am currently a senior in high school looking to further my cheer career in college. Right now, my top two college choices are IUPUI and Ball State. I am still undecided about my major, but I am leaning to Sports Medicine. I have been involved with cheerleading since the agre of 4 and have done competitive cheer for six years. During the span of these 13 years I have cheered for numerous coaches along with being versatile enough to do any position that the team needed filled. For example, being able to fly, base and backspot. I am doing coed stunting privates once a week along with level 4/5 tumbling classes weekly. My standing tumbling skills include a backhandspring and a standing tuck. I am working on bhs to tuck
