Personal Essay: Carolina Hollanda And Her Family

Decent Essays
With so many teenagers in this neighborhood, it wasn't surprising when I came across another inspiring and sweet girl. Carolina Hollanda and her family are from São Paulo, Brazil and have been living in the United States for a year and a half. Carolina has a younger sister, Ana Paula and they both attend American Heritage School in Plantation. Carolina is a junior this year and aspires to study interior design at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia.

When she's not studying, Carolina is hitting the tennis courts. Tennis is a very popular sport in her family and they often enjoy playing at the courts in Hawks Landing, where they currently live. Carolina is very family-oriented and spends lots of time with her family and friends from Brazil. Some of her hobbies include listening to Drake and watching TV series such as How to Get Away with Murder.

She's driven by her admiration for her hardworking grandpa, George. I have no doubt in my mind that Carolina will succeed in all her aspirations and achieve all that she hopes
