One of the health behaviors I would love to change is my tobacco use. It has been a month and 2 weeks since my last puff but I’m still finding it very difficult for me to continue in this path. I believe I am in the stage called the action stage, in relation to the Transtheoretical Stages of Change Model. I am following what I think to be a plan and in doing so I am in the action stage. It is also helping me disregard my urge for tobacco. The action plan I am using right now is to stop buying any tobacco product, save the money instead, and use that money to buy something nice to help me look forward to not smoking. In doing so and striving with this action plan I know I can eliminate my tobacco use and move on to next health behaviors I would like to
