Leaving home is going to be one of the hardest things I go through in my teenage life. I have made so many friends over the past thirteen years of school, and only grown closer to certain people that have stuck around. College is going to bring new people into my life which is a positive thing to me. The way I see it, these new friends will not replace my old ones back home, they will just simply keep me grounded and comfortable while I am away from what I am used to. Of course I would always catch myself back up, I just wish I would have kept up from the start. College is a whole new ballgame. I plan on using this new beginning to be a better student. I will work as hard a I can to stay on track with my classes and their assignments. Being on time to class is a huge must for me once I start college, as well as staying away from late or missing assignments. My goal is to have my grades reflect my persistence to keep myself steady with my work.
