Doing the personal dietary was an amazing experience that I cannot forget. It is enhanced my experience about how good certain food can be for the body and at the same time destroy the body or vital organs. For example, citric is good detoxifying the liver and can at the same time erode the enamels of the teeth. It was hard for me to take account of what I ate and only measured after eating, before realizing that I either ate too much or too little. Unit one was my first diet intake with my Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) of 2000; I consumed 1133 calories with balance of 867. This was the start of me monitoring my intake so I believed I could continue even though I forget sometimes. I was only able to exercise for 45 minutes which I know was not enough time for my exercise, but as a beginner I believed that I did my best that it would improve as continued. …show more content…
With my Recommended Daily Allowance being 1800; my consumption for today was 1348 with 452 remaining. According Supertracker, my targeted amount for grains was 6oz and I consumed 6oz, vegetable 2 ½ cups but I consumed 1 ½ which was under, fruits 1 ½ cup, I consumed 1 cup, again I was under the targeted amount, dairy is 3 cups I did not consume any, and protein foods is 6oz, I consumed 9oz which put me over my targeted amount of protein intake. Week 3 seemed to be better because I then understood that I needed to manage how much calories I consume because my body needs calories both to survive and to maintain my
