Reflection On The Alchemist

Quote: “When we are all children everything is clear and everything is possible” says King Mechizedek. I agree with the King’s statement because I seem to be one of the victims. When I was younger I wanted to be a doctor, because I saw how cool they look on T.V and how much money they were able to earn. As years went by, I soon found out that being a doctor is a lot more challenging than I imagined. At that time I decided to change my mind because I thought that it was too much education, my decision also proved to me that I didn’t love that profession enough to have be my career. In this case it was the reality of the dream the caused me to abandon my dream, however there is also many other reasons. Some of the main reasons include yours peers …show more content…
This includes the Personal Legend, quotes and themes. From the theme of following your Personal legends I have noticed and learned that people can be just as happy with just trying to realizing their Personal Legend instead of actually realizing it. Because they know that they have tried, which makes it important than realizing it. Along with that people can gain and learn a lot more from going on the journey to realizing their dreams compared actually realizing the dream. Something else that was really relevant to me was something that the alchemist had told Santiago. The alchemist had said, “ What good is money to you if you’re going to die. It’s not often that money can save someone’s life.” This stood out to me, because it was something that I believe everyone needs to know. There a lot of things that people would do for money including committing crimes. I don’t understand how money can be more important than your life and other people’s lives. For those who believe that money is everything, are the ones who needs to change. We should not be risking our lives and others for a piece of paper. Even if you have all the money in the world you will realize that you lost something more important. That can include your family, friends lives, or happiness. Reading this novel didn’t necessarily changed the way I view my life, because many of the messages and themes in the book I had learned before I read this novel, and because I didn’t learn anything new I don’t see any change in my life. However, this book made me really reflect on my life. It made me think about my Personal Legend and if this is the life I really want to live. From my reflection I have noticed that the more simple my Personal Legend is, the more I will gain from it. I also noticed that my life is created by me. I never had a life that i was destined to live in, or that’s what I believe. This means that I will have to create my own life. If I know

Sensitivity and considerations bestowed upon people does not only involve emotions but also how you speak to people and words that are used in conversations are essential as well. There are many reasons to why i chose this profession, but my injuries, the support from my family and friends, and the adequate amount of schooling that it takes in order to become a Physical Therapist have to be the main reasons. Other than that, it also helps knowing that this profession is becoming so high in demand because of the ‘fitness boom’, and also the income of a Physical Therapist especially in San Francisco is very reassuring as well.
