Personal Anthology Definition

Is there anything that sticks out in your mind as a cultivator of unhappiness? What will you do to challenge these feelings in your life? Personally, I am tired. Tired of living a life influenced by the unrealistic expectations and societal standards of beauty and happiness. However, instead of whining about it, I've decided to be proactive and gain a better understanding of who I want to be while changing my perspective to revitalize my life. Ultimately, life is too precious to waste, so as long as you live with the intention of happiness, you can't go wrong. Simple as it sounds, we all tend to forget that life won't always be recognition and success. Currently, I am at the point in my life where everything is about to change. As of today, Friday, May 6th, 2016, I have 9 months and 10 days left until I am a legal adult, and that terrifies me. To think that my childhood is fleeting while I sit and worry about others opinions or whether my future will go exactly as planned, baffles me. Throughout my selection you will see a variety of themes, all evident in the spectrum of the self determination and discovery. One of my most favorite topics is the fun and carefree vibes of life, displayed through my works: Keith Harring's, Untitled, 1982; Sarah Adams', Be Cool to the Pizza Dude, as well as many other songs and poems.
