Having set in goal in life is very important. Without goals, I believe I have no reason for living. Setting a goal helps me every time to choose as well as achieving my place in this world whether it is personal or professional. As it is states in our text book, "Learning to achieve goals isn’t just important for student. It is essential in your personal life and career.” (Carter, Bishop & Kravits, 98). I am going to write my paper to outline my personal, academic and professional goals and the strategies that I will use to reach these goals. Being a mother, I always think of my family first and their wellbeing is important to me. The strategies I will use are creating a healthy environment, cooking healthy meals, and regular exercises. Most importantly, keeping my family connected to God. According to an article by Marcel Lebrun, “Mindfulness, exercise, focus and attention, healthy living strategies need to play a role in shaping healthy children”. The article shows many strategies for parents to guide children in making choices that are both empowering and allow them the flexibility to be children in this days where there is a lot of destructions, (Lebrun, ). I want to make sure they are well taken care of. Since I have two daughters and a son, I want to be the role model in their life. I want to show them how to work hard and achieve my goals. Nursing school is not easy but I am planning to work hard. I will accomplish this goal by completing my assignments on time, building study skills, and be a positive learning team member. I have a study group placed and I have a good study habits that will help me succeed in the Nursing program. The reasons I want to achieve this goals is that I want to be able to pass with good grads and accomplish my education by obtaining a BSN. Graduating with a BSN will opens many doors to me. Since this is going to be the first step toward my career goal, I want to achieve it
