In fact, still today there exists strain in the relations of my mother to her siblings, as well as in the relations of her siblings to extended family. Unfortunately my perception of the situation is scattered with bits-and-pieces of facts. Never having been excessively close with my aunt nor my uncle I have never been able to understand their reclusive nature. On the surface I think I am like most students: I take university seriously, I have my own visions for the future that I am determined to make happen, and I do not expect anyone to lead my way. What makes me different from the rest of the crowd though is how I love to take part organizing something for the greater good. During my school years, I have joined several school organizations which has taught me how to work well in team and how to work under pressure. Previous experience has also given me a considerable amount of confidence in my interpersonal communication skills. I look forward to putting this skills and experiences in this Peace tour as a leader.…

For my service learning project, since I am a non-practicing religious person I chose to seek out an individual who is religious and discuss some of our similarities and differences. I chose this particular project because I often find myself confiding in one of my religious friends, about different aspects in my life and I feel that she provides me with appropriate advice often from a religious standpoint. In order to fulfill the requirements of this project, I invited my friend to lunch during this past week and explained to her my objective for this project, which by the way she fully understood and had no question about helping me. Interpersonal communication is the process of sending and receiving information between two or more people. I took two classes for the summer of 2016, but the Interpersonal Communication class had me worried the most. I had a training with the army, and that required me to absence from school for two weeks. Unlike my other class, I didn’t have a chance to work ahead of the class with the instructor for the two weeks that I would be missing. Therefore, I was worried that I wouldn’t catch up with my classmates and end up failing the class. However, Ms. Anna was generous and extended the assignment due date for me; she even gave me an extra-credit assignment to replace the credits that I missed during my two weeks in training.…
