Perseverance Research Paper

Perseverance is doing something despite difficulty or delay in success. One great example of perseverance is Derek Redmond. Derek was a herd working Olympic sprinter, but in the 1992 Summer games something was different. About ¾ way through the race Derek was in the clear and it looked like a sure victory. When the final stretch came Derek pulled his hamstring and dropped faster than a sack of rocks, but despite the pain Derek pushed through and finished the race. Although Derek got last place he still finished the race and not many people can say the same.
