Perseverance Of A Single Mom

Decent Essays
I believe in the perseverance of single mothers. My mother happens to be one of them .Where do I even begin my mom is the most important person in my life, and one of the strongest people I know. She has struggled a lot being a single mother and still manages to stay positive through whatever she is facing. She is the most selfless person I know.
My mom plays many roles in life the mom, the dad, and the best friend just to say a few. When I was younger and was having a bad day I would tell my mom about it, and she would make me feel all better and tell me “everything was going to be okay” and it was. My mom supports me in everything I want to do and never doubts me even if it's a dumb idea. As a little kid I would tell her all of my dreams in life and she would tell me I was capable of accomplishing anything I wanted.

I would watch my mom go to work; then get home clean the whole house, make food and still managed to talk to me and ask how my day was.As a little kid I would not understand how much my mom would have to go through to get whatever my brother and I wanted but as I grew older I understood more.
My mom has always taught me many lessons in life for example not to care what people think, and to dream big. As a little kid my mom did not have the opportunities I have to today, so she always wants me to try my best and encourages me in everything. She pushes me to my limits because she knows I am capable of more than I think I am.
I know my mom is not the only single parent out there who is as brave as her but because of her I believe in the strength of a single mother .I couldn't have asked for a better mom.I am glad to not only call her my mom but my best friend
