Perseverance is the actions taken in order to overcome a struggle without giving up. In order to be able to persevere, one must face an obstacle or personal struggle. To show perseverance and push through the obstacle, you will need a purpose. Why is this struggle or obstacle in life so important to overcome? What is your purpose?. Once you have a purpose you will need to find the direction to go to start your process of persevering through a struggle.
