Have you ever wondered what makes people so successful? A few of these traits are perseverance and resilience. People who are very successful have these traits and a few others. In this essay we'll be looking at these traits, and those traits in famous people. Three individuals who show these traits are Mark Twain, Michael Jordan, and Charles Darwin respectively. Michael Jordan considered of the greatest demonstrates the traits shown above such as perseverance and resilience. When in high school he failed to make the basketball team even though, he got made fun of and embarrassed, he kept going. He made the team the next year and eventually went on to UNC University of North Carolina. Michael won the championship that year and got drafted into the NBA. Now on the Chicago Bulls Jordan kept practicing and won his first NBA finals in 1992 and went on to win 5 more. Now Michael Jordan owns one of the biggest shoes brands and the Charlotte Hornets basketball team. In conclusion, he shows the traits that make people so …show more content…
Samuel Clemens proves that what makes people so successful is perseverance and resilience , I know this because in the article”Mark Twain Biography” it says with his father dead and his family needing a source of income-he found a job as an apprentice printer”, Which shows that he has resilience and perseverance because even after his father died he tried to take care of his family. Also, Samuel Clemens shows perseverance and resilience because in the article " Mark Twain Biography.com" it says "...he was flat broke and in need of a regular job.", showing that he had plenty of struggles.
