Perseus was born from his father Zeus and his mother Danae. King Acrisius, Danae’s father, set Perseus and his daughter out to sea because of a prophecy that Perseus would kill him.They were both taken in by the king of Seriphos Polydectes. Polydectes grew to begin having feelings for Danae, but was unsuccessful to his passion to her due to Perseus’ becoming a redoubtable protector. To get rid of Perseus, Polydectes sent Perseus
