In the book Persepolis, the story was about a ten years old girl call Majane. It's 1980 in Iran. During the Iranian Revolution, marjane as a little girl when though a lot of difficulty. Marjane's mother and father often attend political protests, kind of like a more violent African war, and support revolutionaries when they can, including many of Marjane's relatives, like Uncle Anoosh. I am from a small country in West Africa call Liberia. I will be expanding how Marjane’s life is similar to mine. I was born June 2, 1990 , that was the same time the Liberian war started. Due to her age, she could not fully comprehend the law. As for me being force to do anything was quite normal on my part. For the most part, I was always safe be my uncle. My uncle was a member of the Liberia Army, without him in my life things would have been differently. With Majone, she was trying to understand her new life and readjust to the rules and regulations. As for me, there was no readjusting in my part since it was the only life I knew. In my country, children that are left unattended would normally be kidnap and turn into child soldiers. Which could be the worst thing any parent or gardens could go, though. As for the rules in my country, it was not hard to fallow because it was the only one I had. Marjane’s uncle Anoosh was a great reminder of my childhood. In the story, Anoosh was fearless and had lot of courage to help his love ones. His action is the book, “Persepolis” actually remind me of what my uncle used to tell me. He said to me, “Musa I need you to be strong in whatever you do. Always finish what you start, and lastly, you must know what a man must needs to know. I call it the three steps, you must learn how to swim, drive and shoot”. He though me the above three before he got shot during the war. War is the last thing I will wish upon my worst enemy because its separate people
