Dancer mom prefers tough love approach- The dance mom could be defined as an authoritarian parent. An authoritarian parent is a more who sets rules that are somewhat inflexible on a day to day bases but still expresses lots of love for her children.This is seen in the film when she buy her a new outfit and get to her nail done to show her love for her daughter but sets strict rules such as she has to dance and or perform her solo otherwise she can't compete.
Poly and her two girls- poly would be described as a permissive parent. A permissive parent provides total freedom and unconditional love. Poly is seen as a permissive parent in a away because she does provide total freedom to her daughters by buy they whatever they want and allowing
