Perm Ban Case Study

Explain some cases in which you would perm-ban/temp-ban people:
As a staff member I believe the number one priority is the safety and comfort of other players / staff members, so in order to make sure if this, here are some reasons I would ban / mute people:

Spamming Chat:

Spamming is where someone puts many messages in chat, resulting in a flood of messages. When this occurs I would first off warn someone with the /warn command. If they decide to continue I would ban them for 5 - 15 minutes using the command /tempban [name] [time] [reason], depending on the severity.

Malicious / Suspicious links:

If anyone decides to put a website link in chat that is seemed to be malicious or suspicious, this player will be permanently muted using the command /mute [name] [reason] for the

An example of this would be "Haha [Staff Member IGN] is trash at their job, you deserve to be demoted!". First of all I would warn the individual with the command /warn [name] [reason]. After they have been warned I would temporarily mute them for 5 - 15 minutes, depending on the severity and how often they have done this. I would do this with the command /tempmute [name] [time] [reason].

Staff impersonation:

Staff impersonation is when an individual pretends to be a staff member, when they are not. For example "I am IceyYT" or setting their nickname to one of a staff member. In a case of this happening I would temporarily mute them for 15 minutes with the command /tempmute [name] [time] [reason], with no warnings given.

Racism:

I believe one of the worse things someone could do is make fun of others due to the colour of the skin, or due to their religion. When this occurs I would first warn them with the command /warn [name] [reason]. If they continue to be racist I would mute them for 15 minutes with the command /tempmute [name] [time] [reason].

Under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) an employer has a responsibility to maintain, in safe working order, all electrical equipment used in their business. I realized that a tremendous amount of players are not listening to staff, or being very toxic, hacking on the server, etc. I think the problem to this is the new people to this server, the new people are new to the server and are not aware of the rules, reason being they haven't really looked into them, Even though Cheating is bannable on most of the servers, they still might not know. They just want to play the server. Rule breakers/toxic players are not the only problem. The biggest problem, in my point of view are the questions that they have for the rules or server.…

Myers’ book focuses on the idea that racism is still alive and has just been modified since the civil rights era. No longer is it acceptable in public to openly discriminate against a person based on the color of their skin. However, racetalk allows racism to continue based on the sharing of the ideology through discreet vocabulary that is so ingrained in society most people do not consider it a problem. Most people that use racetalk deny being racist but still push the racist agenda.…

It is meant to be fair, and to give second chances. Most times, a verbal, then written warning comes before suspension or even termination. The first one being sexual harassment or using the internet, phone, or emails to send, watch, or receive inappropriate pictures, sites, or recordings.…
