I have always demonstrated productive work habits, during the first half of the year working in IE 11 project, I managed the production elevate of 8 ClaimStation embedded applications, all the applications elevates were planned and managed efficiently in terms of time, money and other resources.
Being the TSO of the IE 11 project, I implemented and enforced procedures through which we were able to deliver applications on time with high quality; Un-necessary and costly duplication of effort was eliminated resulting in saving of time, money and effort.
Example: Defect logging Process.
Problem: Most of the QA resources working on IE 11 project were contractors and had no prior knowledge of Claims application. This caused same defects being …show more content…
For the very same reason, I made sure there were no communication gaps and created a list of tasks assigned to me and assigned priorities to them. This list was referred during project stand-up meetings. Demonstrating my leadership skills I also encourage other team members to do the same. By applying the idea we were able to cut down or stand up time by 30 minutes and saved a lot of time.
Minimal Disruption of Important Processes: While working on the IE 11 project in the first half of the year, we did not have any system downtime for any of our applications at all. I made sure we follow the strategy of soft disabling the servers instead of forced elevate. All the claims applications were elevated to production environment with no distribution.
Process Improvement: I recommended process improvement by providing the feedback and passing learnings of the project to concerned application owners, who in turn will make sure these learnings, are implemented as features into applications in near …show more content…
• Meet Milestones: On the IE 11 project I contributed and meet the major milestones and deliver the project in a very successful way. Claims platform reported the least number of PBI’s and Incidents, as a platform claims delivered the best quality product. I was a key player in maintaining the quality of the project. This helped the team to achieve major milestones. o Example: As a company we were supposed to move away from IE 9 browser by the end of the year 2016. I made sure we achieved this milestone for Claims Platform and, we achieved this milestone and completed our work before the agreed deadline. I proposed to the program manager to deliver the application in CV mode to make sure we meet our deadline.
