Samuel completing 2 to 3 hours per day in spare parts.
We discussed the amount of time that others were subsidising their time to assist with the spare parts department.
Tania commits approximately 1 to 2 hours per day. Typically, Tania completes administration but the majority of her time is spent unpacking and stacking away spare parts following a delivery from Landpower.
Samuel commits a significant amount of time including; picking parts for workshop and general organisation of the spare parts department.
This time spent away from tools and in the workshop including from 1 October to 20 October was approximately 55 hours or 2 to 3 hours per working day.
I raised the issue of staff contributing hours to the spare parts department. Trevor indicated that at this time of year it was a position that required extra people to assist the demand.
Following further discussion Trevor and I came to an agreement, removing Tania as a resource and committing Samuel to no more than 1 to 2 hours per day.
I then reinforced requested actions from Trevor from prior discussions
