When it comes to program interventions one of the most important factors of a successful intervention is program evaluation. The evaluation stages are those in which the program directors can assess how well the process is going and implement any changes that it may deem necessary. On occasion, an evaluation can actually force directors to cancel an intervention if the resources are not there or the problems that are brought to light by the evaluation reveal themselves to be insurmountable. An assessment would be viewed as helpful in the event that it uncovers approaches to make upgrades to the intervention itself or to build the productivity of the program (Shi and Johnson, 2014).
The first step in evaluating a program intervention is to start with proper objectives. In order for objectives to be successful, they must be measurable. Below are the three major measurable objectives for this program intervention:

From January 2016-2017, at least 50% of Lake Troubled Shallows OB/GYN unit hospital staff, report attending a SIDS educational class/presentation or viewing SIDS educational video.
We will conduct seminars or presentation classes on SIDS in hospitals of Lake Troubled Shallows for staff to attend and be kept abreast on recent findings regarding SIDS. To measure this objective, we will require a sign in sheet for each presentation held and compare it at the end of the year to the total number of staff in the unit. By partnering with organizations such as Safe to Sleep Public Health Campaign we can achieve this objective. Numerous teaching educational videos are available on SIDS through organizations such as the National Fetal and Infant Mortality Review Program (NFIMR).
3. From January 2016-2017, 100% of parents/guardians report being shown a demonstration on safe sleep practices from a medical, nursing, breastfeeding, child birth education, or nutritional staff of the OB/GYN unit prior to
