Performance-enhancing drugs are unscrupulous and should not be taken or used. There are many downfalls to taking anabolic steroids, and the first one that will be mentioned is that the use of performance-enhancing drugs (anabolic steroids) may lead to some grim health problems that many people don’t even take into consideration before the abuse of the drug. The second downfall to be declared is going to talk about the reason many people still use performance-enhancing drugs even though they are illegal, but the use of performance-enhancing drugs is a trending thing, thus more and more people are getting into trouble. Finally, some people may ask what can be done to prevent the use of steroids. Clearly nothing is really working yet, but this concept is going to verify a solution that will help with the prevention of steroid abuse. The use of anabolic steroids has many health side effects that most people never consider before the use of steroids: “Misuse of these substances and techniques could lead to: increased stress on the heart, blood clotting, and stroke” (Effects). Usually people just see the short-term physical gains that can get them noticed by just taking a pill and like the idea of how easy that would be.
