This is an elusive idea that getting something just the way that you want is probably the biggest let down that there has ever been; well, except learning that Santa Clause does not exist therefore Christmas is never the same. I learned that how I deal with the stress that I have may not be the best, but old habits die hard. When I first started classes it was during summer semester, when there was not as many students on campus, I believe that helped reducing my anxiety of the first day of classes last fall. I did find that it was interesting that in one of the studies it found that younger participants hand lower levels of stress than those of the older participants, in ways it makes sense; personally knowing that I need to have a certain grade and GPA for graduation and transfers makes it more stressful trying to keep my grades up. I have always understood that if I don't have at least 6 hours of sleep I will not be worth anything the next day; the days where I haven't gotten much sleep have felt a bit more anxious about getting assignments
