Perfect Size: Personal Narrative

Most people dream of having the perfect physique, but a large number of those people do not do what it takes to achieve one. Out of those people who do actually want work hard to sculpt the perfect physique many of those people do not know what to do in order to succeed in their attempts. Frank Zane is a person, who not only wanted to have a perfect physique, who trained almost all of his life to have one and had the proper knowledge on how to transform his body. A fourteen-year-old boy was inspired by a discarded magazine, to begin training hard and building muscle. He would go through great lengths to insure that he would not miss the opportunity to improve and grow his muscles and it showed. “Frank would carry 55 pounds of weights along with him so he could train”, a quote …show more content…
When one can obsess over something they want to succeed in doing they have a greater probability succeeding doing that thing. "Continuity is how you build a physique.” this quote by Frank Zane on gymviral.com, shows that he was consistent. It also put his life into words, how he began training at such a young age and continues training now decades later despite having achieved a perfect physique years ago.
Frank Zane is said to have had the most aesthetic body of all time. His muscles were not only large, but symmetrical and proportionate. It is also said that the newer division in bodybuilding “Men’s Physique” was made inspired by Frank Zane. In this new division bodybuilders are less massive but have great proportions and have a more aesthetic physique than modern day bodybuilders. Frank Zane has also done great things in giving back to the bodybuilding community. He now 73 years old still continues to train hard and teach others in the way of aesthetic bodybuilding.
