Though it may be tempting, to answer questions when someone asks you one, it’s best to avoid it. It can be really hard to answer them without letting the opponent tap into your state of mind. Additionally, don’t say something like “I know you’re bluffing,” or anything similar. The reason for this is it shows your opponent how you act when you have a certain hand. To play it safe, keep quiet.

• Master The Stare Down: When your opponent is giving you the death stare, give it right back to them! Don’t allow any player to intimidate you during this game. You want to be cold and pretty much emotionless. Just the same, do not stare at your cards. Taking too much time to observe what’s there, gives an indication that you don’t have a good hand.
