Thomas Johnson Jackson, also known short as Stonewall Jackson was a senior general under Robert E. Lee. He was the general of the Confederate Army during the Civil War and died on May 2, 1863 after he was shot by his own troops in battle. The Confederate Army were fighting against the Union Troops. DeShaun Wade is a respected floor general in the Hampton Roads area but he will not be returning to the courts at Green Run High School this year. Over the Summer Wade transferred to the Miller School of Albemarle in Charlottesville Va. With this being a private school Wade benefited greatly because instead of this being his senior he gets to be a junior and have an extra year to show what he can do on the floor. “ Being at Green Run has helped me so much, Coach (Kenneth) Harris taught me how to work hard and leave everything on the court which is something I was not doing before I got there. On May 2, Stonewall Jackson unwittingly got shot by one of his own men while in battle at Chancellorsville,Virginia. Saturday night, at the Battle of Chancellorsville, Tom Jackson, a Lieutenant General of the South, got shot by one of his own men while they were planning a night attack. When the surgeon arrived he decided that Jackson had blood clots in his wound. The surgeon had to act fast or the Union would come and attack them.
