Perception helps us active our critical thinking every time we are examining or observing a situation, and our five senses play a big role, but because as humans we have emotions, we cannot always rely on our senses. In other words, our senses can play tricks on us. Many times we believe that we are seeing something and somebody else might be looking at the same thing and at the same time, but they see something totally different. Like the image of the glass on the slide, I see it half full, but perhaps one of you in the audience see the glass full, our critical thinking activates and we can discuss and argue about the glass being half full or full all day and never come to an understanding.
