Today I will discuss how percentages fits into the career of a healthcare worker. You can use percentages in a hospital or Doctor's office. One way you can use them is percentages of appointments when patients are a no show. The hospital or Doctors office may also want to know the percent of claims that are being denied each year. Percentages are also used to let a patient or Doctor know if something is wrong like a 50% blockage of the heart, percentages of red blood and white blood cell counts. It can also be used to determine a persons oxygen level. Percentages are used in many different ways in the healthcare field.
