Per Mom Consumer Behavior Essay

Consumer continues to have unmanageable behaviors in the home setting as evidenced by his inappropriate responses to anger. Per mom, consumer continues to punch walls, yell, scream, be disrespectful to her, be non-compliant with the house rules and respond to anger situations aggressively. Per mom, since starting IIH services, consumer has made little progress with his behavior. Per mom consumer is not using coping skills and techniques taught in a consistent manner. Per mom, she would have to remind consumers of consequences for behavior and make threats of taking privileges away for him to use coping skills and techniques. Per mom, consume need constant reminder of how to behave when he is upset. Per mom consumer is in need of IIH services to help him to with using skills more frequently to control his anger and aggression behavior. …show more content…
Mom stated that she still have fear that if consumer gets very angry and her older son is not home to intervene, that consumer may hit her. Mom stated that she is also afraid that consumer behavior will cause him to get in trouble with the police. Per mom consumer continues to have an ongoing mood instability as well as oppositional issue toward adults. Per mom since starting IIH services, consumer has not had any incident at school. Consumer has made little progress in the home setting with building a better relationship with his mother and sibling. Per mother, consumer is mean to everyone in the home setting and makes threats about how he will hurt
