This is the other main strategy of PepsiCo to increase its sales. Packaging reduces the risk of spoilage, breakage,leakage,etc in this process of storage and transportation of goods. It is also used to attract the customers towards particular product.
e) Pricing- there is an inverse relation between price and demand therefore pricing is the main focus of PepsiCo. It is an important function because the prices of a firms products determine the volume of sales and the amount of profit. The theory on which PepsiCo works is cut-throat competition because it is running in an oligopoly market.
f) Physical Distribution or Place- It is also a strategy of PepsiCo which consists of all the activities involved in transferring ownership and physical possession of the product to consumers. Its purpose is to make the product available to consumers at the right time and at the right place.
