The previous paragraphs were about PepsiCo Inc. as a global icon and that was very brief on all the things that they are doing. The rest of this paper will be more about PepsiCo Inc. on a more local level and what I have found by talking to some students and faculty on campus. It was really hard for me to find individual information about the smaller plants that was in the local area because there was no specific websites that talks about the locations individually. When I was talking to one of the students, did some research into PepsiCo Inc. a while back and so he was able to give me some information about the PepsiCo Inc. bottling plants that we have in the Northern Colorado area. He told me that there are three PepsiCo Inc. plants that …show more content…
Since I could not find out much about the relationship that the university have with PepsiCo Inc. I decided to look for ways that they return to the student population. So I looked up PepsiCo Inc. scholarships. I was surprised to find out that they have a lot of scholarships offered. However, when I looked deeper into the scholarships that they offer, I realized that it was either university specific or that it is major specific. When I was trying to find sources and article for this paper, I could not find many that was in the topic I was writing about. I do not know if that is because PepsiCo Inc. and Globalization is being understudied or it is because the information is out there, but it is every well concealed. All the information that I have found and included in this paper are primarily from their website. This then brings up another question because I was uncertain that the information is accurately represent the Incorporation or it is just pieces and bits that makes them look good. When I was doing the research I realized that it was really hard to find information to confirm or denied the claims that they make on their website. With little time I could not done a full investigation on their …show more content…
as a global icon and its influences around the world. With that I have talked about arguments that claim Globalization could be Cultural imperialism and cause a other countries to be exposed to a homogenous society. Along the same negative aspect of PepsiCo Inc. I have included the criticisms that PepsiCo Inc. had to face whether it is world wide or a bit closer to home. Now bringing this to the more local community, I have mention that there are three Pepsi Plants within the Northern Colorado area. Most of the products that we have including the soft drinks are also a part of PepsiCo Inc. so they do play a major role on the campus. However, by talking to students and faculty members, I can say that most of the information about PepsiCo Inc. and the university is not open for the public. All of this is to say that before you buy something you should really look into where the product is coming from and how did it get to where you are. I honestly did not think that PepsiCo Inc. would own Quakers or Izze drinks let along working with Starbucks to make a coffee drink for the vending

After being their for a few minutes, fist bumping and having the time of her life, she then grabs a can pf pepsi and walked over to a host of police officers and handed the Pepsi to him with hope of bringing everyone together.…
