It began very calm and quiet with just one singer singing and then it turned into where all the other band members began to sing and the tempo picked up. As all of the singers sang, the electric guitar was played and it contained a wide range with loud, electrifying sounds that helped pick up the pace of the song. The drums kept a constant beat throughout the song, and as the tempo picked up, they too started to play faster and kept up with the overall pace. A little while as everything is playing, it stops and goes back to a solo singer where the electric guitar had kept the beat of the song. It’s like the tempo of the song kept alternating between slow and fast because as it was fast you could hear the lyric, “Lucy in the sky with diamonds”, but as the man sang quietly, I wasn’t able to really make out the words he was saying. I mainly enjoyed it because there were vocals and an actual performance along with the music being sang, instead of just instruments with no vocals. Both the band and the orchestra played terrific and I would most likely go back to see the band play because it was interesting for me to see a group reiterate the Beatles music, and they played almost spot on. The second part of the program was good also, but orchestra based concerts aren’t really appealing to me, but I give credits to every single person apart of the orchestra because I know it’s extremely hard to be able to play an instrument at that level and they all smashed it out of the park. My favorite performer out of the band would have to be the guy who was wearing the pink suit I believe and had long, ginger hair because his solo performance was interesting to watch and kind of amusing, but I felt as though he was overall a very good musician.
