“Why are you here Rhett?” “You know why I’m here.” He steps out from behind the curtain of the tent and plops down on the bench across from Peony. “Do I?” She looks up at her intruder -flashing him an indifferent frown. “It’s only the fifth time this month you’ve snuck into my tent.” “I wouldn’t have to keep sneaking in if would just lend my group some supplies- we’re starving out there!” he protests- slamming his fist down against the wooden picnic table. “That sounds like a personal problem.” She take a long swig of whiskey- tipping her head all the way back before swallowing it and screwing the cap back on the bottle. The rich liquid burns all the way down her throat before hitting her stomach and sending a wave of electricity
