They left for Milwaukee and had a safe trip, luckily. When Pentatonix reached Milwaukee, it thrilled them to be there. That was the only place they went to, that was completely sold out! They were super excited to perform in front of 80,000 people! They were ready to go, with sweaty palms and butterflies in their stomach, but they had just stepped outside because they wanted some fresh air. The moon was 10 times, if not more, the normal size of it. Then Jonathan came out and told them they were on soon and he noticed how close the moon was.
“Take you microphones, NOW!”
They all rushed and took them.
“The moon won’t stop getting closer! And I am starting to feel lighter,” Mitch exclaimed.
“Hurry up and sing as loud as you can, and I think Sing

Fewer than a hundred years ago, the moon was still untouched by man and was one of the greatest mysteries to mankind. In 1961, John F. Kennedy established his ambitious goal to put an American man on the moon by the end of the decade. During the newfound Space Age, the United States and the Soviet Union were committed to a demanding competition to see who made it to the moon first; this was later proclaimed the “space race”. To America’s excitement, on July 20, 1969, American Neil Armstrong was the first person to set foot on the moon. Although, recent polls in the Engineering & Technology British magazine, approximately 25% say they don’t believe anyone has ever landed on the moon.…

With a story like “Men on the moon” by Simon Ortiz, finding clarity can be hard. The main theme can be jumbled up within the story confusing language, although that could be the point of the story. It seems that Ortiz has used this style to convey a level of understanding within the characters towards the reader. Each character deals with the moon landing in a different way and with a different level of comprehension. Although in the story the moon landing is the main focus, I perceived it to represent the outside world.…

After reading both of the stories “Uncle Marcos” and “To Fly” and looking through them, going through the details I have in my own opinion that “To Fly” has the best information and description rather than a more fictional story. I see in the story in the text that it describes flying as it has transformed the way we do things differently such as exploration, our perspective on things in the world, and we always had flying set as an achievement. I have a few reasons as to how I think “To Fly” has a better understanding of how it innovated humans and our actions. Before I do get to tell you bout my reasons I will tell you about what “Uncle Marcos” and “To Fly” are about, “Uncle Marcos’ is a story about a crazy, interesting, sporadic, and…

Apollo 13 was the seventh manned mission in the American Apollo space program and the third intended to land on the Moon. The craft was launched on April 11, 1970, at 13:13 CST from the Kennedy Space Center, Florida, but the lunar landing was aborted after an oxygen tank exploded two days later, crippling the Service Module(SM) upon which the Command Module (CM) depended. Despite great hardship caused by limited power, loss of cabin heat, shortage of potable water, and the critical need to jury-rig the carbon dioxide removal system, the crew returned safely to Earth on April 17. The flight passed over the far side of the Moon at an altitude of 254 kilometers (137 nautical miles) from the lunar surface, 400,171 km (248,655 mi) from Earth, a…
