Penta and The Future Have you ever thought of the career that you wanted to have? What you would do until the day you die and have a great time doing it? I did and that’s why I chose my vocational school for the school for me. Penta career center is a vocational school meaning it's “an option for students interested in practical post-secondary education and job training… typically short career-focused programs that quickly prepare graduates for the workforce” (Study.com/vocational_schools.html) Which means instead of me staying at my homeschool I get to come to penta career center and learn the ways of a cosmetologist while getting my highschool education. Perrysburg was a great high school but penta is an offer nobody could resist. I get to become a successful cosmetologist while getting a good education. Plus it's practically free, saving me about $10,000 (The Cost of Beauty Schools) This way I can go to college for something else …show more content…
This reason being is because not only is it close to home but what I plan to become is a Mental health psychologist and Bowling green has a great field dealing with that. When I was little I was always fascinated with how the mind worked and the emotions people had; how they expressed the way they felt, how the way they think. So, I’d like to learn more about it. Also Bowling Green is just a well-known school. Many of my family members have graduated from there and have had nothing but good things to state. At the end of the day, my college choices and my ability to get there all depends on me and my decisions. I’ve made plenty such as coming to Penta for the Cosmetology program and staying on track with my grades but if I want to keep achieve all of my goals and become a successful cosmetologist and psychologist I’ll have to keep doing what I'm doing and strive for greatness every day.
