Penrose-St. Francis Health Services has been recognized as the only Colorado recipient of Healthgrades America's 50 Best Hospitals for 8 consecutive years, placing us in the top 1% of hospitals in the nation. There are only 12 hospitals in the United States to achieve this award for eight straight years.
Now Penrose hospital is basically situated around the corner from my place of residence, I distinctly do not like going to Penrose since they are sponsored by Catholic initiatives (beliefs) and they have a tendency to preach or attempt to instill their beliefs on you (and I am Catholic). Only been there twice and both times it was like……..! To be seen took an extremely long time, think we stayed in there close to 6 hours and there wasn’t that many people there at the emergency room, and it was early in the morning (around 1:00 am).
