York College's women's basketball team jumped out to a 16-point lead after one quarter and coasted to a 62-45 victory against Penn State-Harrisburg at home on Saturday.

The victory moves the Spartans to 10-1 overall, 4-0 in the CAC, while Penn State-Harrisburg falls to 5-6, 1-3.

Morgan Kuehne's 14 points led four Spartans to reach double figures. Katie Wagner added 13, while Sarah Shearer and Karli McFatridge each added 10.

York returns to action Wednesday against Salisbury at 5:30 p.m.

Men’s basketball

Penn State-Harrisburg 76, York 72: Jazmon Harris scored a game-high 26 points, 18 of those coming from the 3-point arc, as Penn State-Harrisburg defeated York in Capital Athletic Conference action.

The home loss drops the Spartans to 6-5 overall, 2-2 in the CAC, while Penn State-Harrisburg improves to 8-3, 3-1.

York received a balanced offensive effort, led by Dalton Myers' 21 points while Blayde Reich and Mike Duffy each added 14 points. Matt Scamuffo chipped in with 11.

Jourdon Wilson poured in 18 points in support of Harris for the visitors.

The Spartans return to action Wednesday as they head to Salisbury for a 7:30 p.m. tip.
