The primary purpose of this position (as reflected in the pending position description) is to act as an information resource and liaison to various DHS field staff, the public and other state agency staff around direct deposits, SNAP deletes and date of death issues. Provide manual intervention requiring in-depth research and technical knowledge of various DHS screens. Provide technical assistance to case workers in Self-Sufficiency (SS), Aging and People with Disabilities (APD), Mental Health and Alcohol and Drug Services (MH/AD) on direct deposit issues. Troubleshoot and resolve direct deposit coding errors, SNAP deletes and date of death issues to ensure timely and accurate issuance of benefits.

Enter data into the system which requires adherence to agency rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Notify case workers of changes or errors of issuance of client payment by accessing Oregon ACCESS and TRACS. This requires independent judgment in determining an appropriate course of action and in-depth technical knowledge of numerous DHS screens and computer coding. Responsible for processing the direct deposit requests (AFS7262, DHS7262I) and for the establishment of the direct deposit account for Temporary Aid for Needy Families (TANF), Independent Choice (ICP), APD Supplemental (SIP) and Food Stamp Cash Out (FSCO) programs. This includes reviewing and entering narratives in Oregon ACCESS, reviewing the direct deposit application for correct information, entering data to enroll and dis-enroll accounts in the DHS DDFT-Direct Deposit Fund Enrollment mainframe screen and …show more content…

5% - CWX/CWM Report: Process CWX/CWM Date of Birth Corrections report in MMIS by verifying date of birth for the child utilizing DHS screens, TRACS and OVERS and to extend CWX/CWM clients who qualify for delivery of a child.
5% - Team Support Functions: Locates scanned 148 request and/or web based requests for MAP Provider Services Claims Unit by accessing MMIS for the processed date to locate the processed document, attach scanned document and send to the unit as a secured email. Provides clerical support for the Client Maintenance Unit. Creates meeting agendas and take meeting minutes. Updates interdepartmental forms as needed. Reserves and sets up laptop projector equipment as needed.
5% - Other: Other duties as assigned, including returned EBT card identification, EBT return or destruction, attending regular unit meetings, participating in unit workgroups, problem solving activities and various special
