Peet Observation

In my drawing, I take the idea from No Such Things and create a type of elephants who have skinny legs. I use ball point pen to draw line and the outline of elephants, trees, and the rocks. I use the technique that Peet has used in Eli for the background setting in this setting. I bolden the trees’ outline and the rocks, so it could create the hard texture of trees and rock. Then, I use different color to paint the grass, so it could create a softness texture of the grass. I use crayon to color the grass and grease pencil to color the some small details, such as the body of elephants and the truck of the trees, so they can stand out from the picture. I also use shape to create space in this drawing. I draw three semicircle in color of green

On the day of September 29th 2017, a trip to the local Dallas Museum of arts was made. After a few artistical examinations, there was an outstanding piece that stood out the most; it was called “The Peaceable Kingdom”. The Idealist painter Edward Hicks portrayed his background of religion to specify an important passage in the bible, Isiah 11: 6-9. Hicks used that passage to personalize many sentiments through his 62 different-surviving paintings. The individual elements in this version of the painting play an important role in the overall theme of peace and harmony influenced by an important religious event.…

The morkie, also referred to as a “yorktese,” is a crossbreed between the yorkie and maltese. This particular breed is small, averaging about twelve pounds with a body length of approximately two feet. The hair on these canines can be observed in various lengths and colors, including brown, black, white, and tan. The coat of one specific morkie I have become familiar with is long, black on top and white underneath, with faded brown tufts covering his face. His wide, brown eyes are hidden behind a curtain of fur that droops down from the top of his head, similar to bangs.…

The reflection created by the oranges and reds creates the scene of rain. The reds and oranges in the trees at the top of the painting are balanced with the fallen red and orange leaves on the ground as well. Along with balance, there is a lot of variety in the painting. The colors range from cool blues to warm reds, from dark purples to bright yellows, and from secondary colors to primary colors.…

The idea of humanistic perspectives on learning is extremely prevalent in my first grade classroom taught by Nicole Mckelar. In first grade, there is a curriculum that is needed to be followed, but there is so much more than just curriculum that Mrs. Mckelar teaches to these young minds, and the most important thing that she teaches is how to be a better person. There has never been a time in her classroom that children have gotten in trouble for not understanding or completing a task, but she has gotten very angry about students misbehaving and disrespecting others. For example, Britney and Chelsea were cleaning up their toys and Britney grabbed the blocks right out of Chelsea’s hands and Chelsea yelled at Britney. In response, Mrs. Mckelar…
