1. List the leadership experiences you have had both in and outside of school.
Inside the school, I am a leader at my clubs. In my Hispanic Culture Club, I have taught other members dancing step, led our group and organized fundraiser activities. Outside of school, at my church, I was teacher of children on Sundays and I have been a spokesperson during the church meetings.

2. What extracurricular activities will be involved in next year?
In my senior year, I will be involved in STEM club, Hispanic Culture Club, Play It Smart, Future Educator of America Club, volunteering at the High School Library and practicing softball during the spring. 3. What is a peer leader? Why do you want to be a peer leader? What can you contribute to the program?

He or she tries to help others to overcome their struggles. I want to be a peer leader because I am interested in developing my potential and used it to help others. I am highly motivated to help others succeed and to never give up. It is a privilege to be helpful and make a difference at a young age. Thus, if I am chosen to be part of the Peer Leadership Program I can contribute by giving solutions to improve the freshmen class. I can give advice and influence others to make the right decisions. If I participate I can benefit by enhancing my leadership skills and social skills. I can learn about the importance of communication and teamwork.

4. What do you think is the most important thing for freshmen to know as they begin high school? What would you tell them that could ease their transition into a new school?
In my opinion, the most important lesson freshmen should know is not being afraid of the changes. To not be afraid of socializing with new students or to become members of the high school clubs. Most of the time freshmen students are not informed of all the programs, clubs or activities they can participate in. Overall, I would suggest the freshmen students to be self-confident and wishful to be successful in the new stage of high school which they are facing. Although, they should put a lot of effort in all their classes. Many high class students regretted that they did not worry about their grades since the start

I never looked for my own benefit and I cared for my classmates and friends. I am always disposed to explain the issues that they have or any doubts in their homeworks. Although, I am approachable and friendly and I seek to build rapport in those around me.

6. If a teacher was asked the same question, what five words would she/he use to describe you and why?
A teacher will describe me as a responsible, respectful, hardworking, obedient and disciplined student. I do all my homeworks and assignments on time and respect the opinions of my classmates and obey the rules of the class. I am always wishful to learn, therefore, I behave in my classrooms and pay attention to what my teachers say. In fact, my parents had taught me that how you behave and say describe your moral and ethical values. For that reason, I am respectful and avoid reprimands and trouble.

7. What leadership qualities do you possess? Why do you think these will be important when working with the freshmen next
