A peer leader to me is someone who has the ability to influence others. These people who influence us have the ability to communicate. Without this ability these people would have no way of influencing us. When someone starts to influence the good in people it's like a chain reaction. These people will start to make the right decision. These peer leaders are able to communicate with anyone. They understand when someone needs help and they go out of their way to help them. Although role models are not perfect, their qualities make them one. The leader is accepting a responsibility most people who call a burden. Leaders have a positive outlook on life. A leader has to continue and hold the respect they have for their peers, in order for his/her peers to hold respect for them. In order for myself to become a better leader I would need to learn the importance of communication among my peers. Although I am a very good listener which in some cases is very good, and some people don't have that ability. I will have the ability to learn essential values that will help me better myself in the future. Being open-minded , benevolent, and a positive person is the ways to being a better leader. I make a dedicated commitment to anything I am involved with. When I am given the opportunity to help other student and acknowledge them I will do my best to help. As a student leader I have the knowledge to help others. Me being a leader in my community has helped tremendously. Myself being a D.A.R.E role model helps the kids in my community helps them understand the rights and wrongs. I want to be there to help someone no matter what. Having a positive outlook on life and helping these people changes others. When you help someone else out you feel like a better person
