One of the best ways to live a life is a simple pull of a rope. While sleeping, Snub is awaken up to a feather tickling his feet an invention that is used exactly as an alarm clock, which was cut off as he pulled a rope to activate razors; tools used by barbers to shave. Then another pull of a rope that activates a barber razor to cut the feather to cease the tickling. After more ropes were pulled activating a mechanism that turns on the stove to heat up his tea this was similar to a movie called Pee Wee Big Adventure. Pee Wee had a similar design by just pulling a string that made him breakfast as he brushed his teeth. Finally, one of the funny scenes in It’s a gift is the chicken, who is trapped in a cage that lays fresh eggs for Snub's breakfast,
