Moreover, it is more than sexual transmitted disease due to it can be transmitted through intravenous injection. At this level, I select the case study of Pedro. Working with clients with HIV/AIDS. On the other hand, Pedro a heterosexual 58 years-old married male from Dominican who was HIV positive was a father of three sons. Furthermore, Pedro’s weaknesses werehis long history of substance abuse that involves contracting HIV through intravenous use of cocaine and heroin (IVDU). In addition, his strength was his identification to the Christian faith that made his faith important part of his life. Certainly, what I needed to gatherthe information that will enable me to Pedro’s assessment willultimatelyinclude the direct practice process. However, …show more content…
Additionally, as well being culturally alert of Pedro’s culture.The questions to complete Pedro’s assessment includes, tell me the reason you left your country, how long have you been in the United States? what brought you to the United States? What language do you speak at home? What is important to you? Who lives in your house? What bring you to the service today? Do you have anything that borders you? In addition, assessment is a method for problem-solving processing client issues that will include assessing Pedro’s word and body language. Finally, these data collection and assessment will enable me to know the intervention process. Also, the basic needs to be address, support and assistance the client need. Lastly, the assessment tools will strengthen the client worker relationships. And as well keeps the usefulness of data collection and assessment prioritized on the micro, mezzo, and macro
